The Web Waterslagers Dream

The mission of the WebWaterslager website is to promote the Belgian Waterslager Song Canary by providing a forum where members can submit, online, anonymous recording(s) of their bird’s song. Efforts will be made to get the birds evaluated. The format is just beginning and will evolve. We understand that electronic data can be “edited”. This is NOT a competition!

This forum is not intended as a replacement for attending club’s annual shows. For many of us, traveling to shows is not possible, or practical. Our purpose is to give Waterslager breeders world-wide a place where we all can gain feedback, and share comments. An educational approach will guide all efforts. Rather than blame technology for decreasing interest in our hobby, we will try to embrace the opportunities the world wide web provides. It is hoped that this site will help us all gain a deeper understanding, and appreciation of the Belgian Waterslager Canary.
